SkyFi MCP Terms of Service
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Welcome, and thank you for using SkyFi's Model Context Protocol (MCP) server (the "Service"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Skyfi, Inc. ("SkyFi", "we", "us"). By signing in to or otherwise using the Service — including by authorizing an AI agent or MCP client to act on your behalf — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
The Service exposes SkyFi's satellite-imagery capabilities — existing-image search, area-of-interest tools, feasibility and tasking, ordering, deliverable downloads, and imagery analytics — to AI agents and other MCP clients through the Model Context Protocol. The Service is an interface to your existing SkyFi account and the SkyFi platform; it does not replace SkyFi's main applications or your agreement with SkyFi for the underlying platform.
2. Your SkyFi Account
You access the Service using your SkyFi account credentials. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by any AI agent or MCP client you authorize. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account or an authorization has been used without your permission.
3. Authorizing AI Agents
When you sign in, you may authorize a third-party MCP client or AI agent to act on your behalf under the OAuth scopes you approve. You are solely responsible for the clients and agents you authorize and for every instruction they issue through the Service. You may revoke an authorization at any time; revocation does not undo actions or charges already completed.
4. Orders, Charges, and Billing — Please Read Carefully
Some Service operations place real, billable orders and charge your SkyFi payment method or credits. This includes, without limitation, placing existing-image orders, placing tasking orders, and running paid imagery analytics.
- Charges are not reversible once an order is placed.
- You — not any AI agent — are responsible for every charge incurred under your account, including charges initiated by an agent you authorized.
- Prices shown while browsing — for example in search, feasibility, or other discovery steps — are non-authoritative estimates supplied by SkyFi and its imagery providers.
- The authoritative price is the amount returned by the Service's order-validation step and shown to you for confirmation before the order is placed. By confirming, you agree to be charged that amount.
- You agree to pay all fees for orders validated and placed through the Service in accordance with your SkyFi account terms.
Always review the price quote and confirm intent before authorizing any charge.
5. Third-Party Imagery Providers
Imagery and tasking are fulfilled by third-party satellite operators and data providers. Their imagery is subject to their own licensing terms, delivery timelines, coverage, and quality. SkyFi does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, resolution, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any imagery obtained through the Service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable export-control, sanctions, privacy, or surveillance law;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or SkyFi systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute imagery except as permitted by the applicable provider license; or
- use the Service to infringe the rights of, or to harass, harm, or unlawfully surveil, any individual.
7. Imagery Licensing and Intellectual Property
Imagery and deliverables obtained through the Service are licensed, not sold, and remain subject to the license terms of SkyFi and the originating provider. The Service software, together with all related trademarks and content, is owned by SkyFi or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right in those marks or software beyond the limited right to use the Service.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to the SkyFi MCP Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and share account, authentication, and order data to operate the Service.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKYFI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and supplement the SkyFi Terms of Service available at skyfi.com.
